Southland Astronomical Society: The Club Experience

The Southland Astronomical Society upholds a tradition of curiosity and discovery in astronomy, serving as the southern-most club of its kind worldwide. Our open viewings from April to September utilise a reliable fork-mounted 30cm (12-inch) diameter Cassegrain telescope, allowing members and visitors to witness the beauty of constellations, nebulae, and other cosmic features.
