At Mt Maunganui Bridge Club, we foster a welcoming environment where bridge players of all abilities can come together to enjoy the game. Affiliated with NZ Bridge, our sessions—except for Monday evenings which are dedicated to Intermediate, Junior, and Novice players—are open to all grades, with master points awarded at every event. We warmly invite new members and visitors to join us, creating opportunities for skill-building and social interaction. Visitors simply need to sign in and pay $8 table money, while members pay $6. Note that visitors cannot act as substitutes in events. Our annual subscriptions make membership accessible: $75 for current members, $100 for new members (including a $25 joining fee), and just $70 for new NZ Bridge-affiliated members from other clubs (including the $25 joining fee), granting full rights and privileges.

Regular sessions run from late January to mid-December, providing consistent chances to play. Highlights include Monday afternoons starting at 12:45 for a 13:00 start, open to all with partnership steward Annie Barry (027 220 6007); Monday evenings at 18:45 for 19:00, for Intermediate, Junior, and Novice players only, with Lucy Hollister (027 294 5562); Wednesday afternoons from 1:00 as a casual session with no partner required, organised by Bernie Robinson (027 495 6308); Wednesday evenings at 18:45 for 19:00, open to all with Gilda Rowland (021 0842 9947); Thursday afternoons at 12:45 for 13:00, open to all and played on handicap, with Carol Cullen (022 177 3776); and Friday afternoons at 12:45 for 13:00, open to all and played on gross, with Annie Barry (027 220 6007). Holiday sessions in January occur on Mondays at 1:00pm, Wednesdays at 7:00pm, and Thursdays at 1:00pm. Table money is $6 for members and $8 for non-members, with Wednesday afternoons at $4 for members and $6 for non-members.
