The Lion Budokan Karate International Story

Lion Budokan Karate International was founded in 2013 and has grown into a respected karate club in Auckland. It serves children from age 6 and adults who want to develop discipline, learn self-defence and focus on personal growth. Members appreciate the steady guidance of Shihan Syed Mohiuddin, the Chief Instructor with more than 30 years of experience. The training atmosphere encourages commitment and steady improvement, with classes designed to suit both beginners and those looking to advance their skills.

Our Home Ground

Based in New Windsor, Auckland, the club offers a convenient location for local families and individuals. Evening classes run Monday to Thursday between 6:15pm and 8:30pm, while Saturday morning sessions take place from 8:00am to 10:30am. Training pauses during Auckland school holidays and term breaks, allowing members to plan around family commitments.
